Most people go into Amazon FBA with the hopes of creating a successful product. For me, that part came easy. In fact, over the years I’ve been lucky enough to do just that with a brand in the beauty sector – completely OUTSIDE of Amazon.
As I considered the possibility of selling my brand, I was approached by a sales agent who was amazed that the brand had reached success without ever having been listed on Amazon. The agent said I should consider getting the brand on it as it would increase its value. Turns out, Amazon FBA proved to be a whole new ball game for me. Luckily for me, I’d come across Nine University’s KT V.I.P. program soon enough.
I had absolutely no knowledge or idea what it would take to successfully sell on Amazon. I spoke to other entrepreneurs about their experiences and they all kept repeating the same thing: “It’s a nightmare”. So, I did what all Amazon FBA newbies do — I began to join Facebook groups and followed all the self-proclaimed “gurus”. Yet somehow, I still didn’t have a clue where to start.
Then, as if by magic, Kale and Taylor’s Nine University ad pops up on my Facebook feed. I watched it and immediately read everything I could on KT V.I.P. It was refreshing not to be talked to like these other gurus, with their lavish promises and rented Ferraris. They all had the same boring salesperson shtick, making Nine University a true breath of fresh air. These guys felt downright genuine.
Having enjoyed the free training session, I booked a call and spoke with David. I was very impressed with what I was hearing. The sheer amount of content and perks that are included in the KT V.I.P. program package can fill up a greater part of this page (you can view all of it here). Some of the stand-outs for me was access to the on-demand portal of over 300 step-by-step videos filmed by Kale and Taylor themselves, the weekly livestreams, the biweekly personal coaching with a 6-figure seller and the private Facebook community of active and successful sellers. I decided to take a leap of faith and join. As soon as I put the phone down, all the doubtful thoughts of course started to creep in —
Who have I just handed all that money over to? Will I actually get anything? Oh lord… what am I going to tell the wife?!
As soon as I received access to the Nine University KT V.I.P. portal, I got cracking. I think I was on week 5 of the course within a couple of days!
Following the step by step instructions I rewrote my listings, adding in key words suggested by using the tools recommended (only the trials, not paid for) and bang, the listing went from a ranking of 14,876 to 2,100 in the beauty category in two days. TWO DAYS.
I also had a few calls with Kyle Stephens (6-figure seller) who helped me get some of my PPC campaigns set up. And then… came the calls from Amazon.
I was assigned an account manager and was enrolled on to the Amazon ‘Yoda’ marketing program. That meant having PPC campaigns made by Amazon for me. All this a direct result from the meteoric rise in listing thanks to the strategies I learned from KT V.I.P.
This PPC campaign was what set it all going, £276 spent for the whole month, returning £1,611.71 — the result of brainstorming whilst speaking with my KT V.I.P. 6-figure seller coach during our bi-weekly meeting.
It was one of those epiphany moments where everything just clicked and everything I had read and watched on Nine University came together. I duplicated this PPC campaign in other countries and it is doing just as well. Now I am gearing up to go big on the Amazon Yoda program.
Exciting times ahead, and all thanks to Nine University’s KT V.I.P. program. Without this course I would still be scratching my head. By the way… all of this in less than 2 months.
The advice I have for anyone pondering whether or not to take the plunge and join the KT V.I.P. program: just f*****g do it. Find the product, brand it well and follow the course to the letter.
To those already on the KT V.I.P. program: do not skip anything in the course, you may think you know it, but I guarantee you will have missed something, and that something could be what propels you and your product to Amazon stardom.
